Mike Matson admires a piece of ornamentation that was used as a model for the 1997 reconstruction of the House of Hospitality. Architect David Marshall, who oversaw the project with former Balboa Park Committee of 100 board member and architect Wayne Donaldson, donated the piece to C100, which handed it over to Matson for safekeeping at his Bellagio Precast studio. The permanent piece can be seen just to the right of the building entrance facing the Plaza de Panama.
